Commercial properties add operational questions to ordinary tree work. Deliveries, staff, customers, tenants and neighbouring businesses may all share the space.
Josh first inspects the site and proposed scope, then explains what the team can undertake and where specialist traffic, utility or consulting input is needed.
Nominate one authorised contact
The quote should come from a person who can confirm boundaries, approvals, access and the intended outcome. Identify who can make a decision if conditions change.
Provide landlord, managing-agent or tenant authority where relevant.
Map normal site activity
Record delivery windows, pedestrian routes, parking, emergency exits and areas that cannot be blocked. Tree work may need a separate zone or an agreed period with reduced activity.
Do not expect the crew to manage unplanned customer movement through the work area.
Provide services and approval information
Identify overhead and underground utilities, irrigation, fire services and access-controlled areas. Supply permits, development conditions and site rules.
Formal consulting reports, traffic control or utility shutdowns should be arranged where required.
Define the finish
State whether stump grinding, mulch retention, log removal and surface clean-up are required. Landscaping or pavement repair should not be assumed.
Agree how completion will be inspected and who signs off the work area.
When to call Josh
Call Josh when the decision depends on the actual tree, property or access, especially when:
- You can provide an authorised site contact
- The tree-work area and operating constraints are known
- You want Josh to inspect whether the scope suits the team
- You need a written work and clean-up outcome
Frequently asked questions
Does Leaf It To Me service every commercial site?
+
No blanket promise is made. Josh will inspect the scope, access and requirements before confirming whether the job is suitable.
Can work happen while the site stays open?
+
Possibly, but only where people and operations can remain safely separated. This must be planned during the quote.
Are specialist reports included?
+
No, unless specifically stated. Formal reports and external services should be identified separately.
Keep clear of damaged or unstable trees. Call Triple Zero for life-threatening emergencies and the relevant authority for powerlines, council approvals, plumbing or structural advice. Josh provides a free on-site quote for tree work within Leaf It To Me’s scope.
